Abstract

This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies the high-voltage a.c. circuit breakers to be used in high-voltage receiving installations of nominal voltage 3.3 kV or 6.6 kV of frequency 50 Hz or 60 Hz, hereafter referred to as the "circuit breakers". The circuit breakers prescribed herein are those of rated voltage 3.6 kV and rated breaking current 16 kA or under, and those of rated voltage 7.2 kV and rated breaking current 12.5 kA or under.
